Excursions and Sports
	There are numerous trails and roads among the hills and vineyards offering breathtaking views where you can ride a mountain bike, a horse or simply hike.
Castelnuovo Calcea. You cannot miss a visit to the Artistic Park in “Orme Su La Court” Vineyard with works of art and installations placed among the lines of this prestigious vineyard, which draws art and wine lovers from all over the world every year, reaching its peak in July with various summer events ( www.lacourt.it ). Just 10 minutes away from our Agritourism, Serego Stud offers the chance to go for a ride or to spend a whole day on horseback and it is available for lessons and hippo therapy as well. ( www.seregocavalli.it ). At Vivalda riding track, instead, you will find a Quarter Horse breeding farm and a western riding school.       Nizza Monferrato. For motor lovers, it is possible to rent Quads or Gokarts near Winner track in Nizza Monferrato. Still in Nizza, from May through September, there is a swimming pool open for adults and kids and, in the same Sports Center, it is possible to play beach-volleyball and five-a-side soccer.
	In the nearby area there are more opportunities for outdoor activities. You can find renown thermal spas, swimming pools and golf courses in Acqui Terme (20 kilometers away by car).
Visits to the surroundings. The following places deserve to be visited: the “Bersano Museum” in Nizza Monferrrato, dedicated to wine and rural life; the "Sala Pio Succi" contemporary art gallery (www.piosucci.it); the Civic Museum of Modern Art in Mombercelli and in Castelnuovo Calcea, besides the Castle, that you can visit throughout the year, you will also find the “Me Ritorn” Museum where the writings, documents, books and heirlooms that belonged to the writer Angelo Brofferio are displayed. Just a few kilometers away lies Santo Stefano Belbo, the door to the Langhe, which offers several literary and scenic byways dedicated to Cesare Pavese
